The East Coast Honda Challenge made its second visit to the Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course in Lexington, Ohio for round 2 of the 2006 points season. The drivers were looking forward to getting some preparatory experience for the National Championships later this year.

Project 2002 Civic Si survived its first weekend as an official race car at the NASA Moonshine Run in early May at Carolina Motorsports Park.

The East Coast Honda Challenge made its second visit to the Shenandoah Circuit at Summit Point for round 1 of the 2006 points season. The circuit was new to most of the competitors in attendance, and would make for some very interesting racing!

The East Coast Honda Challenge is pleased to announce that King RAT Motorsports has signed on to become the title sponsor for the 2006 season.  King RAT Motorsports has been involved with the East Coast Honda Challenge since the series inception in 2002.  "We're honored to have the support of a company held in such high regard within our racing community as King Rat Motorsports .  This involvement from King Rat Motorsports further demonstrates their high level of support towards our series"; said Jason Franza, ECHC director.
